cpe courses

Whether it is watching a webinar, taking  online cpe courses, or attending an educational session at a conference, CPAs have several ways they can accumulate CPE credits.

In today’s digital age, there are more educational opportunities available now for tax and accounting professionals than ever before.

CPE Courses Tips

Two important things CPAs should consider when continuing their education:

  1. CPAs should decide if they want to maintain their credentials with less effort and expense, or if they want to develop additional skills or an understanding for their job with a more complex learning program.
  2. When choosing an online self-study course, a webinar to watch, or even an in-person educational seminar to attend, CPAs need to be sure they are being educated by a credible source. If you are going to be spending the time and money to continue your education, be sure that the credits will be recognized by your employer. If you use a provider that is not NASBA licensed, the CPE credit will not be accepted in an audit.

It is important for CPA’s to stay relevant in continuing their education. At ACCPE, The American Center for Continuing Professional Education, we provide continuing professional education for many professions. Some of our cpe topics cover accounting and auditing, taxation, consulting services, tax planning and cpe courses for enrolled agents.

We also offer cpe courses on other areas of specialzied knowledge including computer applicaitons, personal development, retirement planning, estate planning and ethics.  For more information on affordable self-study CPE for CPAs contact us.
